Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Bieszczadzkiej w Ustrzykach Dolnych

     Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Bieszczadzkiej w Ustrzykach Dolnych to zabytkowy kościół parafialny oraz miejsce kultu maryjnego, związane z dekanatem Ustrzyki Dolne archidiecezji przemyskiej. Położone na osiedlu Jasień, dawniej wsi, stanowi najstarszą świątynię katolicką w mieście. Zbudowany w 1740 roku w stylu barokowym, kościół cechuje się podziałem wewnętrznych ścian pilastrami.

 

     Wnętrze świątyni zdobi barokowa ambona z rokokowym baldachimem z końca XVII wieku oraz historyczna chrzcielnica w formie łódki z rzeźbą Dzieciątka Jezus i krzyżem, datowaną przypuszczalnie na połowę XVIII wieku.

 

     Sanktuarium stało się miejscem kultu Matki Bożej Rudeckiej, a cudowny obraz tej Marii został przeniesiony tu z kościoła w Rudkach po II wojnie światowej. Intronizacji dokonał kardynał Karol Wojtyła 7 lipca 1968 roku. Niestety, w nocy z 7 na 8 lipca 1992 roku obraz został skradziony, a obecnie w ołtarzu głównym znajduje się jego kopia.
